Located across from Tlaquepaque on Hwy 179, just 1/4 mile below the "Y" intersection with Hwy 89A is Sedona Sports. Run by Bill & Elaine Sakelarios, I recommend it for the essentials for being outdoors in Sedona.

Although their gear ranges from sunglasses to swimming goggles, I recommend the store in particular for their great hiking shoe selection, as well as for walking sticks and poles. Get the right shoe, and you'll be comfortable throughout your walks. Get the right poles and your knees with thank you later!
