Sunday in Sedona
What is it?
Sunday in Sedona is a one-day retreat held throughout the spring and autumn designed for people who have been involved with personal growth work and reached a level of success.
The day includes segments of:
- Walking in the natural beauty of Sedona
- Visualization and meditation
- Enjoyable small-group discussion of spiritual concepts
- New information and techniques aimed at those whose growth is already accomplished.
As opposed to most growth events you’ve done, this isn’t about fixing what’s wrong with you. Sunday in Sedona helps you get more in touch with bringing what’s right about you to the surface.
Your guide for the day is Dennis Andres, and much of the content of the day is drawn from his forthcoming book, “Growth, Consciousness, Energy.”
What’s great about Sunday in Sedona? The group size is small, the price is inexpensive, the timing is divine, and the inspiration and enjoyment are tremendous.
What do people say about it?
Here’s what some of our Sunday in Sedona participants have to say:
"[It] gave me hope for the future (and especially for my grandchildren). I would compare the strength and validity of Dennis’s message with other intellects such as Deepak Chopra or Eckhart Tolle.
[His] presentation is much more enjoyable and easier to immediately comprehend. Incorporating guided meditations, humor, a hike and fabulous cuisine into the day made it very memorable and I've already shared news of the adventure with several friends.
It is very obvious how much Dennis cares about the human race and nature (understanding that we are all one). He is truly making a difference in the lives of those fortunate enough to cross his path, or to find his books."
Sandy Branvold
"Sunday in Sedona with Dennis was an experience that was an opportunity to stretch my imagination, get in touch with nature, my true essence and how I relate to others and the whole universe as well as consciousness.
Dennis draws upon his years of experience connecting with the outdoors, meditation & breathing practices, and relating with like-minded people in a way that is compassionate, deep and humorous.
His sensitivity was expressed in making sure I was comfortable during the whole day and the Ayurvedic lunch was a real treat lovingly prepared by his associate Melissa. It was truly an expanding and beautiful day."
Maura Mark
"Thank you so much for Sunday in Sedona! It was exactly what I needed: taking time off from being a mom, wife, business person and not having to ‘work’ at a workshop.
Instead, the day came with ease, being in nature, connecting with my inner self. That wonderful meal, great meditations and discussions, and the work we did at the end with our different aspects was very powerful.
I felt nurtured and relaxed all day. The ladies that attended were a delight to be with. It was also inspiring to see Dennis in action in doing what he’s so passionate about. It was wonderful!"

About the host of Sunday in Sedona, Dennis Andres
Think of Dennis Andres as a trail guide to a new spirituality.
At age 21, an experience at Peru’s Machu Picchu made him aware of a deeper essence underlying the outer world. His subsequent career as a diplomat, management consultant, and development volunteer led him to four continents, speaking up to five languages.
In 1995, based in Sedona, Arizona he began guiding spiritual adventures across the globe, from Machu Picchu to Mt. Everest, from Tuscany to Tibet, and from Kealekekua Bay to Lake Titicaca. He’s traveled in nearly 50 countries. Having access to ancient cultures, spiritual sites and natural beauty have all imparted to him a wisdom beyond his years.
Today he shares how personal and planetary growth work is changing, inspiring others to find outer success and inner meaning. He helps people enjoyably find a spirituality that underlies all aspects of life.
- As a spiritual guide and counselor, Dennis’s sessions create dramatic and potent shifts. His grasp of consciousness unlocks old patterns, releases fears, and harmonizes limiting beliefs and thoughts. People find their purpose via his “Destiny Session.”
- A dedicated meditator, he has studied metaphysics with the aim of spreading spirituality into all areas of his life: health, wealth, career, relationship and creativity. His achievements, adventures and success demonstrate that inner peace doesn’t mean outer boredom.
- As a public speaker, Dennis inspires. He has appeared at personal growth conferences, and before corporate groups such as Microsoft and Texas Instruments. Named Sedona’s “Best Comedian,” you’ll find his insights light-hearted.
- As a Sedona’s pre-eminent vortex guide, Dennis makes practical the understanding of the area’s subtle energy. His outings have delighted thousands, and been chosen by National Geographic, San Francisco Chronicle and The Weather Channel among media outlets, and The Chopra Center among other organizations.
- As an author, “Mr. Sedona” has 3 books which have sold 50,000 copies: “What Is A Vortex? A Practical Guide to Sedona’s Energy Sites,” “Sedona’s Top 10 Hikes,” and “Sedona: The Essential Guidebook.” His newest is, “Growth, Consciousness, Energy,” and his is working on “10: The Very Best Things You Can Do To Improve Your Life.”
Like you, life has led him to this moment. Sunday in Sedona is a chance to appreciate it.
